The short version. This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party trackers, and has no login. If you only read pages here, nothing about you is stored by us beyond ordinary web-server logs.
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type into. The site is plain HTML served from our own server. There is no advertising network, no social media pixel, no session cookie, and no fingerprinting script.
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which contain your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. These exist to keep the server running and to detect abuse. They are retained for 30 days and then deleted. They are not used to build a profile and are not shared.
If you email us, we hold that message and your address for as long as needed to deal with what you wrote about, and to keep a record of any agreement. Our mail is self-hosted on our own infrastructure — it is not processed by a third-party mail provider. Ask and we will delete the correspondence.
The measurement scripts run entirely on your machine. They read model weights from your own disk, send nothing anywhere, and require no network access.
The hosted demonstration is a separate matter and you should assume less privacy there. It is hosted by Hugging Face under their privacy policy, not ours. Text you enter into the demonstration is processed to produce a response and may appear in server logs on that platform. Do not put confidential or personal information into it. It is a research demonstration, not a product, and it carries no confidentiality guarantee.
If you support the research financially, payment is handled entirely by the payment platform you choose. We never see or store your card details. We receive only what that platform passes on — typically a name, an email address and an amount — which we keep for accounting and tax purposes for as long as the law requires.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. There is no circumstance in which we would; there is no business model here that would benefit from it.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will comply within 30 days. If you are in the UK, EU or a jurisdiction with comparable law, those rights are yours by statute; we extend the same handling to everyone regardless of where you are, because maintaining two standards is more work than maintaining one good one.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the previous version remains available in the site's version history. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
A note on scope. This policy describes what the site actually does today. It was written to be accurate rather than defensive, and it is not legal advice. If you are relying on it for a compliance assessment, have your own counsel review it — particularly if your jurisdiction imposes obligations we have not anticipated.
